When exporting from MS to DXF format there is an option to set the precision.
I want the same for DWG. Let me explain my use case:
My working units are (almost) always set to 'mm' because that's the way we design. However when exporting to DWG depending on the use case of the file we need different unit. Surveyor is usually working with 'm' so I like to export the floor plans also in 'm' so they don't have any work correcting the files.
Now the precision of MS (/OBD) is set to "0.0", 1 decimal place. It's enough when working with 'mm'. However the DWG export takes this setting and applies that to the 'm' units. Meaning the precision in the DWG is only 100 mm. Luckily it doesn't change the geometry, only the precision shown in the DWG file. So I can change that by manually opening each exported DWG file and changing the precision. But it's tedeous work ...
SR has already been filed with the OBD team, resulting in Enhancement Request 1059777 (for OBD). Since it's platform technology, I think it will benefit all MS users as well.
