Currently when exporting to dgn (merged references) the options are limited and as such certain settings and appearances cannot be retained.
For example, placing saved views onto sheets used setting from the reference file, yet when merged the settings are overridden by those of the active file. The elements should retain their appearance.
Second example. Fields - there should be an option to freeze field values on export, commonly these are lost when references are merged (unless the model is set to not update fields, which can be dangerous in normal workflows)
Third example - there should be more ability to control the type of model -ie the ability to change the model type on export (Autocad users cannot deal with a sheet only model, and are unable to reference sheets directly into model space, therefor an option to convert sheet to models would be invaluable)
