Can we add an option to add a density to an element/solid so we can get its mass/weight. I know we can do this with Item Types but that will not allow us to report on itmass. We would need to export the model to excel and get excel to do the calculations

Yes: define an Item Type that includes a density property, then a property that defines mass. Mass is calculated by an Expression similar to density*this.Volume
To bad this got moved to "will not implement" when trying to get composite center of gravity calculations for anything in MicroStation vs most other platforms it's so much harder. If it's all the same material no big deal but don't you dare blend steel and concrete, or some other metal like aluminum.
I guess doing things long hand keeps me sharp.

Hi Ian,
Enhancement 85863 was filed to add element density and mass to element information so that mass could be calculated. Would this suffice?
