Currently when you use the view rotation tool the it keeps the last chosen view rotation option, even after resetting out of the command. The next time you click on the tool the last used option is the rotation you get, unless you hold down the mouse button until the other options appear.
It is always annoying when I select the view rotate tool and click in the view only to see it rotate based on the last use of the tool, then I have to do a View Previous and choose the Rotate View command again being sure to change it to the appropriate option before clicking in the view again.
I suggest the creation of a user preference that allows user to set a default view rotation tool option. This would reset the view rotation tool to the chosen optiion after the user finishes any view rotation and hits reset.
There would be 10 options:

None (This would work as it does now)
Rotate View (Dynamic Method)
Top View
Front View
Right View
Isometric View
Bottom View
Back View
Left View
Right-Isometric View

I personally would prefer the command to default to the Rotate View(Dynamic Method)rather than one of the predefined standard views, such as Top, Front, Right, etc...
