Hello
Could we get to use Item-Type properties & expressions / Constraint Variables as inputs to drive the Offest, Scale & Rotation inputs of Reference Attachments?
I am thinking of a scenario where you have sub models that are assembled side by side to form complete a whole model, but when flexing the parametric dimensions within a sub model (meaning it increases in size), it can parametrically "push" its adjoining sub models / attachments around, to accommodate its new size. Eg. floor to floor heights in a tower design.

Hi Robert, would the capability of using a parametric variable - or an the property of an Item Type attached to the dialog - as the input for the reference's rotation, translation, etc be enough?
It seems that you are looking for separate parametric models to relate associatively to each other when brought together in an assembly. If this is the case, have you considered using 3D constraints to keep things associated? For example, I have three parametric models -- a cone, a slap and a cylinder -- which I want to inter-relate so that when the slab size or rotation changes, the others respond as designed. So, I create a new design called 'assembly', place the three parametric cells within it, constrain them using 3D constraints as desired and when the parametric variables change, everything interrelates as expected.
