Manipulating the ACS triad should be a 'transparent' or 'modeless' operation -like a viewing command- so that commands can resume. Activating a Ref Attachment should not cause ACS to lose track of its 'previous' ACS. Temporarily translate/apply ACS in activated Ref space?
