It would be cool to have a tool that would allow us to array along a path (smartline, bspline, etc.) and then update as we change the path. For instance, I can extrude a profile along a path and then modify that path and not have to rerun the extrusion, which rocks. I would like to be able to array along a path and then redefine the path but have the array automatically update from my edit. If this exists, I'm overlooking it.
update:
Yes, I did use the "Array Parametric Solid Feature" tool. It is not functioning as expected. I would like for there to be multiple objects I can apply to one path. E.G. a guiiderail. I would like to be able to extrude the guiderail profile along with the vertical members arrayed along the path. I tried this with a bspline and it wasn't that great. Also, can we have an option to hide, copy, retain path and profile like other modeling tools?
Thanks in advance
