Now that we're populating cells with item type information it would be super helpful if we could display this data in the popup info box. This box already sees named groups, levels, links and a host of other information.
I can see this being done a few different ways but i think it would be important to have the option to filter what data is shown. If all of the item type data was displayed it could become a hindrance and not a benefit. Ideally we would have a toggle on the item type data itself to choose if this information will be exposed to the popup info box.
I could also see the potential need for adjusting if any item type data is ever shown in the popup info box, maybe in a given work flow a user would want to check this on/off. But that spirals into another idea all together where users should get to choose what information shows up in the popup info box.

This idea has partially shipped. From MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 17.2 on you can hover over an element and in the ---items--- section see the name of the Item Type that is attached to the element/cell.
Currently you cannot select or determine which the properties of the item attached to show in the Pop-up dialog. Keep in mind, an element/cell could have more than one Item attached and each item could have a long list of properties. We will investigate the remaining request to add the ability to show properties in the list. Thank you for your submission.

When did this ship? i don't see it in the 2025 release notes and it's not in 2024.

Popup infor box?
As in the Tool Tip when mouse over elements?
This currently displays Element Type (and in the case of a CELL, the element that is currently rested upon) and LEVEL only.

Yes i would like to selectively display item type info attached to elements in the same popup.

Kind of what Infosnap did for any other type of elementinfo. With the possibility to customize which data should be shown when snapping to an element. Infosnap has not been available for CE though.
