Item Types: Add a way to make Item Type Properties invisible to the user

I would like to recommend an enhancement to item types to give a function that was available with TagSets.
with TagSets you could create one tagset with all the tags you want. and then there is a display column to choose to display that tag in the model or not.
while with TagSets this can be achieved by only adding text fields that are tied to the property you want. there is will the problem that when the user goes to edit a given property it is now in the properties dialog, and the user will see all the properties for the item type INCLUDING the properties that are not actually being shown in a text element. So now the user DOES NOT have a easy to tell if the property they are editing is displayed in the model or not.
There is a show/hide option for all properties in general but that is a user preference and does not allow you to hide a property for a given instance (on a given element).
it would be nice to have a similar function as the show/hide but be per element, kind of like how you could chose which tags to display per given instance of a tagset. or at the vary least make it so the user knows if its deing displayed in the model. It doesn't even have to be directly tied to if it is actually displayed but maybe just another parameter in the item type property settings, it just had to be something that's applied per instance.

The Item labeling is still not there. (compare it to tag functionality).

    Just two examples here.

    1. If I attach Items labels and then move the cell I have them attched to the labels are not moving along. They should - like when you have tags. 2. If you build a cell with items and labels and then place this cell. You can not move the labels. Again: with tags that was a nobrainer(!?)

I agree that the visibility of Item Type instances should follow the precedent of tag definitions and tag elements.

The first step, Item Types property can now be set to shown or hidden in their definition, is welcome!

Hi John, Item Types property can now be set to shown or hidden in their definition. This setting works globally on all instances of that item type, there is currently no way to set this on a per-instance basis.

I understand you would like to have this working for each individual instance so how would you like this to be set? During the attachment phase or would it be ok to do so using the Edit Item dialog once the item type is placed, if you wish to change the visibility setting for an individual instance?
