There are good third party tools that can do this (eg CADDPro & Axiom). But it's really unfortunate that AutoCAD can handle such a fundamental CAD requirement out of the box where Microstation can't. Perhaps going forward Bentley can look to provide something to go with Item Types to encourage their uptake since they are meant to replace tags.

Functionality of TBM is there in U15. We will be adding an interface soon.
