It must be possible to allow reading and updating of ACS's from project dgnlib resource library.
It is very time consuming and cumbersome having to continually import ACS definitions from other files>models. Ideally I would like to be able to define a project ACS or grid in the workset dgnlib, and be able to activate / copy these into live file, and be able to update from library(on file open or prompt via sync icon) as per most project resources.
As it stands, if I update an ACS, I have to delete/re-import and overwrite in hundreds of files. Further to this, the ACS window does not allow recording of all steps via macro so I am unable to create a script to run on file open either.
Would additionally be awesome, if this could be combined with reference grid(s) that could replace the standard view attribute grid and beturned on and off with the view attributes Grid option. This would then enable a proper project grid system that does not require a reference in every project file
Hi Duncan, it would be great if you could split the referenced grid idea and give some more details on how it should work.
Thanks
