asthe current file (Config variable $_dgndir)
This allows youto switch directly to a particular sheet or mode as the file you are currently in. Rather than first opening another file and then digging into the model
I guess that would be a really nice default feature for everyone. What do you think?
(I had this setup in a dgnlib in V8i but did not find the time to get it really to work in CE)
Hi Tamicca,
Thanks for looking into this. I am looking for a way to show the hierarchy of files/and the models within.
We are not setting up Projects. Our files are just on some Server folders. In a Project we have e.g. folders with dgn-files for each floor of a building. Like "Electrical_Site07_Building555_Floor03.dgn". In this files there are several sheets with different levels set, The sheetnames are the same in all floor-dgns - like "Appliences", "Lighting", "Data", "Alarm", "Data-Tech".
So Sheet index only would gives me the same SheetName over and over again.
The sheet index is 1. terribly terribly slow (actually as I am trying it now, it does not come to an end... ) 2. gives me ONLY the sheets. Yet not the other models. It also does not give you the Files where the sheet is in.
I am looking for a File Index in the same folder (simply everthing in the same folder aka $_dgndir) that allows you to drill down to the models etc. (I guess that was available in some early version of V8 but got lost sometimes.
