In my opinion, text or dimensions should have a new property called "full style match" in the Properties window. This property would be below the "style" property.
This property would be just ReadOnly and it would be a boolean property (Yes/No).
For example, if we add a text according the active text style, then this property will be "Yes", but if the user changes some value properties so that the textdoes not strictly adhere to its assigned style, this property will be "No". (there is no fully match with the assigned style).
For the case of "Element Template" property, it would be also necessary a similar property : "full Element Template match" (Yes/No).
Regards.
Definitely MicroStation needs one more property for elements called "Full Element Template match" (Yes/No). It would be a readonly property.
If we assign an "Element Template" to an element but then we edit some property (which is also included in the assigned Element Template" then the properties of the Element template are not applied totally in the element.
We need to know if there is full match or not.
