I have just finished another large project taking advantage of the new 'Item Types' and 'Display Rules' functionality, I think that this new functionalityis oneof the best things to come out of Bentley in a long time. The only problem isthat it reliesheavilyon manual data input, which is head bursting stuff if you are dealing with large data sets.I havetouched on this a few times and I am in support of using Excel for this, however I understand that there may be issues with using Excel that might prevent Bentley progressing this.
This idea is just about plain old numerical or text values, no formatting required.
We live in an age of big data, manual data input is sotedious and fraught with errorand requires additional resources forerror checking.
