Clip Volume Handles - Numerical Input

The way the Clip Volume handles/paddles work leaves a lot to be desired.
It would be helpful to have the option to move the handle in user-defined increments. The current set up where the handles have potentially infinite increments leads to poor very feedback even with reasonably quick GPU's on mid-sized models.
Currently
1. Hover over Handle
2. Handle highlights
3. Click and drag on Handle to move
Proposed
1. Hover over Handle
2. Handle highlights
3. Two new Handles popup- arranged in front/back of the original
4. User choses orginal Handle for current behaviour, or one of the other Handles to move a preset increment (set in using the Unit or Grid Lock?)
5. User hovers over one of the outer Handles, and gets a banner showing the increment distance
6. While the cursor is over the outer Handle, the user can use the scroll wheel to set the distance, the Clip Volume frame updates to give the user feedback on where the Clip is moving to with the rest of the model visible.
7. Left click confirms
8. The display is updated. Not before
