In large or complex ORD files that utilize item types attached to civil elements or drainage elements, it's really easy for a file to get very sluggish. Any time you try to move something or open the properties window to update an item type property, things can slow down a lot and creates an unproductive environment to work in.

The way other software, such as excel, handles large datasets that requires a lot of processing is they have a setting where you can turn off the automatic recalculation of formulas or expressions whenever something changes. If you need it calculated at a certain point, you can then manually click an icon have everything calculate. I think this would be extremely helpful to have in OpenX products. Being able to make several changes with minimal processing and then choose to calculate everything at once would help with our productivity a lot.
