OpenRoads needs the ability to directly import .kmz and .kml files. Currently the only way to do this to convert the file into a shape (.shp) file using some other type of software which is very tedious, time consuming and virtually impossible if you do not have access to said "other software". Export to .kml (should also include .kmz) is an option, but somehow "Import" was missed.
Hi Aaron, The Import KML/KMZ is already available in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer as a Technology Preview. You can access it from the File menu > Import > Exchange File Types.
