It's not unusual to deal with 3D exported files that have thounsands of small geometry: zero length or very small lines (<0.01cm).
The idea is to add a feature to the existing "Design File Cleanup" tool that filters geometry by length and selects or deletes them.
Zero length lines are actually points in Microstation but it also creates garbage as hard to select points as no such element type exists.
