Need to have the ability for dimension lines that cross other dimension lines be automatically masked. This has traditionally been done by adjusting extension lines, but with associative dimensions, this is not feasible. The order of dimension placement can control which is "over" the other dimension.
Thanks for you requested idea and feedback. We took some time to investigate this request and unfortunately, came to the conclusion that we will currently not consider this enhancement. One of the biggest reasons are technical limitations & challenges in MicroStation and underlying platform, that would lead to undesirable changes in other parts of the drawing production workflow due to it’s complexity. Wondering if you have tried using Level Priority? You can use Level priority and use a specific TextStyle with Masking [I have set up one TextStyle -> non-masking, one with-masking] and put it on the same Level as your Dimensions.
