When files are stored on sharepoint or OneDrive, they can be opened by multiple people at once, sometimes creating multiple versions of the same file unless there is perfect communication which isn't always feasible. Inroads used to have lock files created for alignment files which I know had issues, but they would be great for this situation. I am also aware that for most users this is never a problem, particularly those working through ProjectWise, so just adding the ability for an organization to set that up, maybe in the configuration file, would be incredibly useful for those of us that use sharepoint/OneDrive.
