We are looking for functionality that will allow printing corridor meshes (2d and 3d) or any meshes as filled entities, without the need to use Rasterized option active in the Print dialog.
Currently to print meshes to PDF, to appear as filled with colour or with standard materials as shown using display styles e.g. Illustration, or Smooth etc., the Rasterized option must be active. Otherwise, the meshes print as shown with wireframe style. Printing with Rasterized active produces large files and takes very long time for long roll plots e.g. 5m long drawings.
This functionality could also help in showing cut / fill slopes of end conditions in specific colours without the need to use slope annotation which still doesn't work properly in many cases.
Currently only shapes / complex shapes can be printed filled with colour when using non-rasterized option. There are many benefits in non-rasterized printing with clear and crisp looking pdfs and small file sizes.
Non-rasterized printing should be improved and used as part of more sustainable drawing production workflow.
